The famous "Culture, Real Ale & Poetry" nights are usually held in pubs around Burton-on-Trent.
The next Pub poetry night will be on Friday 10th January 2014 at "The Old Cottage Tavern, Byrkley Street, Burton. Details of previous evenings,including winning limerick competition entries, are published here periodically.

Summer Poetry night
There was an excellent turnout at the summer poetry night. Over 40 keen pub poets came to share poems and monologues rather than stay in their holiday villas. The Limerick competition had an Olympic games theme.
